Long-Time-Liner's® goal is to enable Linergists® to work with the maximum level of precision and to ensure that our customers have a relaxing experience, leading to the best possible results. The company has therefore been continually developing and improving its semipermanent make-up technology for over 25 years, ever since the company was founded.

For perfecting our Conture® Make-up method, LONG-TIME-LINER® continues to take every effort for research and development of our pigmentation device. Since the introduction of the ultra-fine pigmentation device 20 years ago, it has changed drastically for the better. We manufactured our professional ultra-fine pigmentation Conture®-Liner Duo device in order to improve on our previous, first generation LONG-TIME-LINER® model, second generation LONG-TIME-LINER® Turbo model and the Conture® MED 2000. Compared to those previous models, the new Conture®-Liner Duo device incorporates more know-how and a wider range of applications including two liner pens for a seamless and time effective procedure. The Conture®-Liner Duo is not only highest-quality device, but is also of unsurpassed hygienic quality confirmed by many physicians and medical professionals.

Long-Time-Line's technology consists of a controller and a handheld pigmentation device. We believe that our Conture®-Liner Duo represents the absolute state-of-the-art in field of semipermanent make-up, as have all our previous devices. Our track record of continuous innovation has been honoured with numerous awards, including the Reader's Choice Award 2009/2010 for coming first in the category of semipermanent make-up.

Speed and depth

The Linergist® has full control over two essential aspects of the way the handheld device operates. On the one hand, she can control the speed of the needle, setting at it between 55 and 70 strokes a second. Our research and decades of experience have taught us that frequencies in this range lead to perfect results. On the other hand - and more innovatively - she can control how far the needle projects from the handheld device. This has a direct influence on the amount of colour that is ejected from the device, that is to say, on the flow of colour-flow. Not only does control over these two variables make for greater ease of use, but it also gives the Linergist® extra control over the outcome of the procedure and over the way the customer will look as a result of it.

Precise lines

The handheld pigmentation device works much like a modern ink pen in the sense that, rather than working with drops of ink on the skin, the Linergist® fills a compartment in the device with the selected colour, and this is then fed in a continuous supply to the tip of the needle. Among the great advantages of this is that the Linergist® has an unbroken line-of-sight to the area of skin on which she is working, meaning that she can apply the pigment with an extremely high degree of accuracy. Since the pigmentation device makes use of a very thin needle, the ability to have an unobscured view of the skin is essential if the best results are to be achieved. The fact that the colour is delivered straight from the handheld device also means that the colour remains clean throughout the procedure.

Perfect level of control

The handheld pigmentation device is attached to and governed by a controller. Through this, the Linergist® can select between one of four settings, each pre-programmed for a typical use, before perhaps further changing the settings manually for a perfect level of control. Since Long-Time-Liner distributes any new code as soon as it is developed, the software on the controller always remains fully up-to-date. The four settings are:

Reconvalescent- and cosmetic lip-countouring
Camouflage pigmentation and shadowing
Eyelash- and eyeline augmentation
Fine hair formation (for example, after chemotherapy) and eyebrow-hair replacement

After choosing one of these settings, the Linergist can then adjust the length of projection of the needle and also its speed (and therefore its stroke-rate) so that they conform with the pigmentation requirements of the customer to be treated during that session. This enables the achievement of optimal results that often surpass the expectations of the customer. The settings can, however, also be selected without the need for further adjustment, and they do in fact lie in the region of what our experience has shown us are the most commonly required settings.

Since the Long-Time-Liner® handheld pigmentation device is driven by a stroke magnet rather than by a conventional motor, it works completely silently. This enables the Linergist® to concentrate better on the important task at hand and leads to a more relaxing experience for the customer.

Surgical stainless steel

The needle used in the handheld device as well as various other components are manufactured from surgical stainless steel. This means that they can always be sterilised and reused.

Made in Germany

Long-Time-Liner® is extremely proud to be able to claim that its medical are "Made in Germany".

LONG-TIME-LINER® pigmentation colors are not only medically tested and certified, each individual bottle of pigment is labeled with a charge number which is noted every time that specific bottle is used for pigmentation to maintain high quality control standards.
Our goal is to enable trained Linergists® and doctors to work with the greatest amount of precision and to ensure that customers and patients receive the most relaxed and least stressful treatment possible. We thereby make sure that the end result of all treatment is optimal pigmentation.

It is for this reason that Long-Time-Liner® has been continuously developing and perfecting the technology of pigmentation since the firm was founded 25 years ago. Long-Time-Liner® develops the micropigmentation devices and inks itself, which are manufactured in Munich.

The ink pigments consist of inorganic pigments, iron oxides, carbon black, manganese violet and titanium oxides. All the oxides and titanium dioxides we use during the pigmentation ink manufacturing process are food-grade. For lip colours, in addition to the above, we also use the organic pigments D&C red 6, red 7 and FD&C yellow 6.

We have no doubt that our inks represent the absolute pinnacle of ink development in the area of semipermanent pigmentation.
